Delta's MC Card Series

Delta MC-Card connectors are microminiature, 50-ohm impedance connectors with snap-on coupling and a frequency range of DC-6GHz. They are best suited for use with cables in the range of .070" to .120" diameter, such as RG-178 and RG-316/U, as well as metric miniature cables.

These connectors provide small size and light weight with the convenience of snap-on mating and the ability to rotate connector pairs after mating for precise alignment. They are very durable, with a service life in excess of 5,000 matings. MC-Card connectors are an alternative to MMCX connectors in many wireless and telecom applications.

Delta MC-Card connectors have gold or nickel-plated bodies, with gold-plated inner and outer contacts.

MC-Card switching receptacles automatically switch from an internal circuit and an external circuit when mated. They are ideal for use in applications such as portable computers operating in wireless networks, allowing for automatic switching between the internal antenna and a higher-gain external antenna.
