Position: Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer (CNC)

Responsibilities will include:

• Provide technical and procedural engineering support to CNC shop floor operations.
• Develop and implement CNC machining process improvements including, but not limited to, tooling, fixturing, and equipment.
• Investigate and solve production problems and assist with root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions.
• Identify and quantify cost reductions and quality improvements.
• Analyze existing operating methods and initiate and develop new methods to improve economy and quality (includes cycle time analysis, product flow evaluations, non-value added analysis).
• Interact with design engineering, manufacturing and other groups to achieve performance reliability improvements.
• Develop and document quality plans and procedures.
• Assist manufacturing and quality personnel in documenting and meeting quality standards.
• Design and conduct studies to determine causes of quality non-conformance.
• Support ISO/AS9100 and SPC programs (internal/external audits, documentation development and maintenance process capability studies).
• Knowledge of bills of materials, routings.
• Knowledge of CNC Machining Practices and Lean Manufacturing concepts
• Other duties as required by Department Manager.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years experience
• Lean Manufacturing experience
• AutoCAD Release 14 or later (optional)
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• MS Outlook - E-mail
Knowledge of and adhere to:
• ISO 9001 / AS9100 Quality Standards
• SPC
• Department procedures including ISO 9001:2008 / AS9100, levels I, II & III
• Delta Electronics Policy and Procedure Handbook.
• Employee Environmental Health and Safety Manual.
