Design Engineer: Responsibilities will include:
• Design and develop RF coaxial connectors and related components
• Utilize 2D / 3D CAD design tools to create drawings for components and assemblies.
• Provide engineering support to customers, sales representatives and manufacturing departments.
• Interface with customers on design and applications issues.
• Travel as needed to support customer requirements.
• Process Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Engineering Release Orders (ERO).
• Ability to perform detailed analysis to validate functionality of design, including tolerance studies
• Coordinate and document electrical and mechanical testing of prototypes.
• Work closely with manufacturing personnel to investigate / incorporate design changes for improved manufacturability and cost reductions.
• Assist in the investigation and root cause analysis of manufacturing / quality issues
Requirements:
• Candidate must have a BSME or BSEE or at least 3 years of connector design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software.
• Coursework in Microwave theory and coaxial structures.
• Knowledge of HP/Anritsu network analyzers, EM simulation techniques (Ansoft HFSS) and Cable Assemblies a plus.
Assemblers – full and part time: Individuals to assemble, fit and adjust component parts to working tolerances. Must be able to work with intricate components, differentiate one part from another and have good manual dexterity. Knowledge of basic blue print reading and able to work with epoxy a plus. Will train candidates who have a strong desire and willingness to learn.
CNC Set Up: Individuals with Setup experience on CNC DECO, Star, Citizen, Hardinge Slant Bed or similar and familiar with the machining of precision components.
CNC Operators: Individuals with experience operating CNC machines including verifying critical dimensions, checking cosmetic appearance and assisting with Setup. Should be proficient with the use of micrometers & verniers.
CNC Trainee Program: We offer CNC training to candidates who have a strong desire and willingness to learn. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and vocational schooling a plus.
First, Second and Third shifts are available for CNC positions.
