Receptacle Mounting Styles
Bulkhead: Mount in a single hole; generally used with thick panels.

Bulkhead With Isolated ground: These receptacles feature an additional insulator between the main connector body and the bodyÍs mounting surfaces, electrically isolating the ground signal of the circuit from the panel. The circuit ground signal is passed through the panel via the solder lug for termination inside the equipment. Since they are not a triaxial connector design, isolated-ground receptacles can be used with any standard plugs.
